Q&A #159

He is absolutely precious!!! Could his eyes be any darker, and his eyelashes any longer? He is so cute I can't stand it.....but sadly he doesn't look like he is even related to you Renee, ha ha ha. Are you sure you're his mother!!! :)
Yeah yeah yeah!!! Rub it in! LOL I am SURE I am his mother... I still have the stretch marks to prove it! LOL

SPIDER SHIRT! lol :0)
LOL! Yep! He usually wears it once a week... as soon as it's clean. If only it were green! HA!

Have you heard of a film called "Yo Tambien." It is a Spanish film with actor Pablo Pineda. I did find it on neflix under "Me Too" Pablo's appearance is so different than Evan's (hair, clothes, etc)
No I will have to go look for it!

I was just looking at Christmas presents (yes, in September.)
When I saw these, I had to let you know in case you hadn't seen them yet. This lady has childhood cancer necklaces, tulip necklaces along with tons of other ones. I thought that you might want to know about them. Apparently they are really beautiful, judging from her feedback.

Just go to her items for sale and search for "tulip" or "cancer" or "rose" or "sunset" or "rainbow"... I swear, sh
e has everything.
So cool! Thanks!!! Check it out everyone! :)

Wow...that is alot of tots! We have never received those in our Sonic Meals but our nieces and nephews that live in the Nashville area have gotten them. In fact, our nephew who is 10 has a pretty extensive collection though not nearly as big as Kameron's :)
Ebay! I'm telling you! If you watch long enough, someone will put the whole set up for REALLY cheap! :)

What a cutie! Is it just me or does she look like Kassidy?
Hmm, you think so? Maybe the hair color. I think her eyes look similar to Keeghan's.

Without sounding rude or anything I wanted to ask... Does Kellsey have DS too? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes but, she doesn't really 'look' like it, if that makes sense. It's like the more she grows up the less she looks like she has DS. I hope that doesn't offend...
Doesn't offend me at all :). Yes, Kellsey does have Ds too. I agree that her features don't seem as strong. We even wondered if she may have Mosaic Down syndrome, but we had her Karyotype done not long after she got home, and she has regular Trisomy 21, just like Kennedy. Some people with Down syndrome just have more prominent features than others.

I'm sure his R&R can't get here soon enough. Is it in time for those 3 November birthdays of yours?
Yes, if all goes well, he should be here! :)

we are GOING! .....but you should probably remind us on your blog on sunday! lol :)
Will do! :)

I thought fall didn't start til tomorrow????!!!!!!
According to all the websites I read, they said Wednesday the 22nd... of course I was convinced it was the 20th, so who knows?! It's sometime this week, anyway! ;)

Love the kids shirts. My girls love High School Musical and we have yet to make a trip to Philadelphia. Did you stay at this Holiday Inn? Is it right downtown? We live in PA and want to take our kids to see the sights.
We have stayed at this Holiday Inn SEVERAL times, including a month long stay when Kennedy had her spine fusion surgery. We love it there! They are awesome, the hotel is beautiful... there's a pool on the roof! LOL And it's in walking distance to everything in Historic Philly! I highly recommend it! :) If you're on FB look them up, you can be their friend!

Tyler is the same with books, Renee. I asked him once how he kept them all straight and he said it's like watching different TV shows week after week. Makes since, huh?!? I still can't read more than one book at a time though! :)
Yeah, I guess so... but I'm kind of sad when I finish a book and can't even start another one for a couple days because I miss the characters from the book I WAS reading. I know, I'm a dork. LOL

Natalie might be like you in the book department Renee ;). She loves series books. Currently she's reading Ink Death which is the last part of a 3 book series. I figure she must love how it continues on because she definitely gravitates to series books.

I love it when I make it on your Q&A posts! I feel so famous! LOL! And I know what you mean about not being able to move on after finishing a book. I was (ok, still am) on a Beverly Lewis kick! I love, love, love her characters. Even with the books being part of a series, it's never enough for me! I'm sure you've read her stuff before. I think I might have first heard about her from here (or maybe, Heather Whittaker?) If you haven't read her stuff, you've got to read it! I recommend starting with the Abram's Daughters series!

Can you take some time and explain the difference between Mosaic Down syndrome and Trisomy 21 Down Syndrome? I have googled Mosaic Down Syndrome and I think I understand that with Mosaic that not ALL the cells have the extra chromosome...but I could be misunderstanding it. Could you help me become more educated?
