A Hallmark Giveaway!!!

I have been honored to partner with Hallmark before to do giveaways, but I think this one is my favorite, by far! Recently, Hallmark came out with Recordable Storybooks and they realized what a huge deal this could be for military families... and let me tell you, it is

Recordable Storybooks feature voice-capture technology that records the reader’s voice, which is then captured within the Storybook. When a page is turned, the book automatically plays the text on that page in the reader’s voice. It’s a great way to capture a special moment that can be shared with a child over and over again. And since the recording lasts for the life of the book, it can also serve as a lasting memento of a loved one who is away because of duty or other circumstances (similar to the Recordable Cards).

Last year, Hallmark partnered with the VFW Foundation to donate 20,000 recordable storybooks to deployed soldiers and their families to help keep them in touch during the holiday season and beyond. We were able to get one of those storybooks and our kids just loved it!! Just watch... (Kellsey was not going to sit on that couch no matter how hard I tried, and believe me, I tried! You'll just have to take the other four!) ;)

Great, right?! They have read it over and over! The wonderful people at Hallmark have also said that two of YOU, my awesome readers, can win one of their new Valentine's titles as well! You can choose from the three below:

(This is the one read above)

So, how do you win?! WELL, just leave me a comment here telling me which book you would choose AND who you would give it to. That's it!! For an additional entry you can promote this giveaway on Facebook or your blog and leave me another comment telling me you did so. Double your chances to win! :) I will choose two winners using random.org on January 31, 2011 - ten days from today. Good luck to everyone!!!

I would pick All the Ways I Love You. My husband is in the Marine Corps and he is getting ready to deploy. Our son, who is 4, absolutely loves Daddy. It is harder to help him understand because our son has Down Syndrome. I think it would be awesome and maybe a little life-saving for me if my son could hear his dad while he is away

Oh I love this! Yiiikes your video needs to come with a tissue warning though, when he read the kids names...?

Kameron's comment at the end LOL.

Um... if I won one, I would choose Guess How Much I Love You because that has been a favorite of all my kids over the years. And I would give it to... my kids! It would be a neat idea to have the grandparents record it.

I would totally pick the Guess How Much I Love You book since Aaron is deploying in May. This will be our first deployment with kids, and since Gabe is only 2, I'm not sure how well he will "get it". I think something like this would help!

All such great books. My mom got one for my niece for Christmas. If I were to win this I'd probably give it to my mom to send another one to my niece. Probably the Guess How Much I love You one. That's a great book :).

By the way Keeghan sounded just like CJ when he wanted to turn the page. So cute.

That was such a sweet video...oh and Kameron...always the comic! If I were to be so lucky as to win one of these books, I would actually give it to my parents for them to record it for my kids. They did this at Christmas for my nephew that lives in MN and it was just too precious. Oh, I would love the "All the Ways I Love You" book! Thanks =)

What a great giveaway! I would definitely choose Guess How Much I Love You. I would give it to my sister. When my nephew was born prematurely I gave it to her and she read it to him in the NICU every day. How great for him to have his own special copy.

I could pick Guess How Much I Love You and give it to my nephew Noam (who shares a b-day with Kassidy!) I would record my voice so that he knows that even though I live all the way across the country and all his other aunts and uncles live near him - that I still love him so much!

all the ways I love you is my favorite but really any would be fun. I love the idea of these books

I would love to have the book Guess How Much I Love You. All three of my children have their very own copy of it, and I would give this particular one to the child we hosted in the summer of 2010, so that she could listen to us read to her even while she's not here....

I love the idea of these books, and I would honestly have loved to have one myself with my mother's voice recorded. She passed away a few years ago, so it's impossible, and I so miss her voice.

I'd pick (and I reserve the right to change my mind) Guess How Much I love you. Best book ever.

Awesome giveaway, Renee!

I would choose either Guess how much I love you or All the ways I love you and give it to my boys. I would have daddy read it so that when he leaves they will have his voice. We always do Build a Bear when he gets ready to leave so they have all the bears with different saying, but I think a book would be nice because it's an actual story.

Great giveaway.

Having experienced so much loss in my family in the past year and with my grandmother undergoing chemotherapy for her third battle with cancer, I would ask my grandmother to record All the Ways I Love You for my children to enjoy in the future. It may sound morbid, but I wish we would have had something like this when my brother deployed (no Skype, phone, or regular internet access on a submarine) and before he passed away. What a treasure it would be....

I would select Guess how much I love you for my son. He is 15 months and starting to pick up books.

Oh goodness! How cute!..

I would love to have All the Ways I Love You. My husband is a Marine Reservist as well as an Underground Coal Miner. Needless to say, he works two of the most dangerous jobs out there. I worry about him day in and day out.. I would love to have the book for him to record for our little one. Although she doesn't understand the danger that he faces each day, she still misses Daddy bunches and likes to call and listen to his voicemail, just to hear his voice when he is away working. She would be tickled to have something like this.. And so would her Mommy!

Thanks for offering something so special Renee.

Renee-Well I would love any of these as my husband will be deployed soon and our 2 little ones will miss him so. They are 2 and 3 1/2(DS). I think my favorite is all the Ways I love you. So we would give it to my husband who then would give it to our boys for when he leaves.

We hope we win!!

I'd pick "Guess How Much I Love You," a favorite around here. I'd give it to my boys and have Daddy be the recorded voice so that he could still read to them while gone (whether TDY or deployed).

Hello!
I am going to be a teenage single mother on the expected due date of may and this was a huge eye opener for me. I was not ready for a child but I have come to realize everything happens for a reason and I am more than excited to be giving birth to a baby boy! I have read your blog for awhile now, and I have fallen in love with your children and including your two angels Ben & Josh. All of them are precious, unique and full of grace.

I would pick the book All the Ways I Love you, it seems like such an amazing book for your own child to be able to hear your voice when they read it.

Have an amazing day,
God Bless.

I would either pick All the Ways I Love You or Guess How Much I Love You and would send it to my 10 year old son in Ethiopia.
