After the initial hug, Kellsey decided that maybe she doesn't really know Frank after all and doesn't understand what all the excitement is about. LOL She went with the flow and now she is playing shy. Frank will ask for a hug and she will tell him, "NO!" and shake her head. She even came over to me a few minutes ago and pointed at him. I said, "That's daddy." And she looked at him and said, "STOP!" HA! I think she has a little warming up to do. ;)

This is as close as daddy can get to Kellsey for now... and even here she was about to yell at him!
The kids are ditching school today... shhh!!! Frank only gets today off before he has to start his reintegration classes and with the two hour school delay, Kass pointed out that they weren't even missing a REAL day of school anyway... and well... Yeah. If you have a problem with that, you can talk about it while we're out to lunch. :)

I don't know how you keep the secret. Do you not tell the kids because things can change with flights or whatever? I have a friend who hubby just came home for R&R, but the kids knew he was coming and I think the anticipation was really getting to them. Almost looked like Kass was expecting something though. What happens if someone were to take Kellsey's "spot" on the floor. Would she find a new one or flip out?
Glad Frank is home and I agree with Kass no point in going to school ;). I'd say Daddy coming home after a year is a good excuse. Enjoy your family time. It stinks that he doesn't get more than a day before he has to go back to work, but at least he's home ;).
