Delicious Reasons to Move to Colorado...

When we left California, of course the hardest part was leaving our family and friends. The second hardest part was leaving the FOOD. Seriously. We have so missed some our favorite food chains. And so, once we found out we were heading West, we started searching out what is there... and we are happy because...

No, it's NOT the same as Taco Bell. It's much, much better.

Again, this is NOT Hardee's. Don't tell me that just because it has the same yellow star and a similar menu and the same owners that it tastes the same. I'm not buying it. Sorry! It's just better out West!

And with Carl's Jr, you get Green Burrito. You don't get that with Hardees!

Fresh Salsa Bar. Nuff said.

The last two times I was in California I said I HAD to go here, and I ran out of time. I LOVE this place. It's in Denver, but it's worth the hour drive... you know... if we're up there for a hospital visit or something! ;)

So this is actually something we discovered when we lived in Wisconsin the Summer before we got married. Frozen custard. And now it will be in our city. So dangerous.

And of course we have lots of favorites from TN there as well, but I look forward to revisiting these old stomping grounds again in just a few short months! If only they had an In-N-Out, it might just be the most perfect place to live ever! ;)

Our Hardees in MO and IL have Red Burrito with them... interesting, I think. :o)

And StL has Culver's and DelTaco, so you don't have to go THAT far, ya know! HA!

For real, though, I'm glad that you've got great food to look forward to!

We just moved from the Colorado Springs area last May. I loved it! I hope we can get back to those mountains someday. We ate at Culvers after church just about every Sunday(we got hooked in Wisconsin where we lived the 4 years prior). Be sure to connect with Erin from a few comments up - she's one of my favorite things about Colorado. I miss her more than Culvers!

We had Del Taco in the 80's here in GA until Taco Bell came to town. I think they closed them all then. Del Taco was much better!

Culvers= AMAZING!!!

And according to a couple of my Cali friend here, there is a place right here in town that sells burgers that taste JUST like In-and-Out. Having never been there, I don't know. BUT my friend says the chef/cook there used to work for In and Out and kinda stole the recipe. LOL

I heard the Del Taco was closing in COS!! I hope for your sake it isn't. Oh chicken taco goodness... we frequented it while living there.

We're from CA but were stationed at Mtn. Home AFB in Idaho for twelve years. Seriously missed In N' Out! When we moved to Hill AFB, Utah two years ago we were ECSTATIC to learn they were building an In N' Out an hour from the base! Yes, we drove the hour for those burgers several times. Now they have opened one just five miles from the base. Another is opening on the very same road the base is on! HEAVEN! Little things can make you so happy...I totally get it! :-)
