LOL! I wish I had enough clothes to do that. The girls might though!
Hi Renee. What kind of browser do you use on Kass and Kam's laptops? I want one for mine (I have a 8yrd old princess) but I just can't decide WHICH one! So I thought you could save me some work. Ha!
Kass and Kam have KidZui on their computers. It's the kid safe browser that only lets them go to certain sites. They also email me weekly reports of all their activity which I love.
I noticed there is stuff taped to "babies" face. Is she starting to get "connected" to baby dolls? Is that her "have to have" item, kind of like Charlie is Kennedy's?
LOL Yes there was. She is slowly getting into baby dolls which is nice because it gives her something in common with Kennedy. She has 2 now, one that she sleeps with (which is in that picture) and another one that she plays with downstairs. It's been in a few pictures now. It's still not her "favorite" toy, but it's up there. The baby even went to the hospital with us for her T&A. :)
I'm SO sorry! I'll quit wishing for snow now that I know you all are leaving tomorrow. And just when will you be back so I can start again? lol
And by the way, Charlie really needs to be spelled correct: Kharlie!!!
You can start again next Winter when I'm long gone... but only wish for it in TN, not CO! LOL
I'm posting a link to this video on my facebook, I hope that's okay Renee?
Absolutely! Always OK! :)
LOL you are such a nerd. Carls Jr ... the only time I've had that was in Russia! And I LOVE CULVERS! Oh, I so hate you! And where in the world did you live in Wisconsin and why didn't I know this? LOL
There's a Carl's Jr. is Russia?! Cool! LOL Yes, we lived in Steven's Point, Wisconsin for one Summer before we got married. My mom lived there for a few years so Frank and I spent the Summer there in 1998 and worked and saved up money for our wedding. :) But I was not then, nor will I ever be, a Packer's fan. Just sayin'.
But do you have Philly Cheesesteaks?? I don't think so! LOL! What in the world is a butterburger??
Yeah well, I made homemade ones last night and they turned out... ok... if I do say so myself! LOL (And we'll still be in Philly for check ups for the girls... best of both worlds!) A Butterburger is... well... we go to Culver's for the ice cream! LOL
Cool! How did Kennedy happen to be in it? Did they call for extras or what?
Yes, they needed kids with special needs and called our Buddy Ball group and they called us. There were a bunch of kids from our area in it. It was really fun!! :)
What's up Renee! The names do have an order, but it is a weird one. They are alphabetical starting with Kameron on the bottom. Strange huh?
OK that IS strange, but I'm glad you figured it out! The OCD side of me feels much better now though. LOL
That is a great app- but if this is real info on Kennedy do you want it on the Web? Be careful what you put out there.
It is, but really, there's nothing on there that's top secret info. I took off our address and phone number before posting it. Her full name and birthday is all over my blog already. Her hair and eye color is visible in pictures. Her weight and height... well, if someone asked, I'd tell them. I have posted that info consistently in well child updates anyway. Medical conditions are all over my blog too, and scars? I don't really see why anyone would care. I'm not sure what anyone could really DO with this info...
I do have a question though....is Kennedy really 3ft 0inches tall?? That's how tall Ella is and she is pretty short for a 4 year old even with Ds. Just curious, makes me feel better when other kids are her size : ) By the way, are you guys going to the conference this summer?
Yep LOL She's barely even ON the Ds growth chart! haha She's very tiny. No, we're not going to the conference this year. We'll be busy moving. :) Hopefully next year.
Kennedy had an extra thumb?!
Yes! :) This was actually the FIRST thing we knew about her when she was born. The doctor lifted her up and I said, "What's wrong with her hand?!" I was devastated! Of course we found out later that she had Down syndrome and her thumb kind of paled in comparison! LOL It was on her right hand and had 2 bones, a knuckle, a finger nail, everything. It was removed when she was 6 months old... it was her first surgery. She was in a bright pink cast up to her shoulder for 6 weeks after that. Imagine the looks we got when we went out with her... people thought we had dropped her or something, especially because she was SO tiny still then! Ahh the memories! Now there is just a scar, and her right thumb is larger than her left... it's also a little farther away from her index finger than it should be, but it functions ok... she's even right handed. I was kind of hoping it would make her left handed like me! ;) Here are a couple pictures:
Awww! Look how cute my baby girl was! :)
