Update on Kellsey

Kellsey is out of surgery and doing well overall. We just got settled into an overflow room here at Vandy. We're still on the surgery floor because every bed is full here for the night. So far, Kellsey is drinking well and tolerating the pain ok so pray she keeps it up because it's going to be a long, uncomfortable night. This room is freezing and there's only a chair for me to sleep in. I think we'll both be ready to get out of here tomorrow!

Kellsey woke up well from the anesthesia. She actually woke up faster than Kennedy does and she fought going back to sleep. Now that we're in a quiet room I turned down the lights and she is finally drifting off. Once she's in a sound sleep I will go fill her prescription for tomorrow. They have her on Tylenol with Codiene.
