The Bond Family

Nathan and Elisa Bond are a young married couple with a beautiful 18 month old daughter named Sadie. They do everything together. They love spending all their time together, and just by looking at their pictures you can tell how in love they are. On Valentine's Day they were devastated to learn that Nathan had stage 3 rectal cancer. Together, they geared up to fight his cancer.

Then.

Nine days later...

Elisa was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

Seriously.

And now, they are battling cancer, truly, together. Right now it's chemo, in the future it will be radiation and surgery... and they're holding each other and Sadie together. Through cancer. Watch more of their story below...

Have I mentioned lately that cancer sucks? I mean really?! How does this even happen?! You can see an interview with Nathan and Elisa right here and visit their website here. It was set up by a bunch of their fabulous friends to help them through their journey. You can also read Nathan and Elisa's personal blog here. You can also join Team Bond on Facebook. Please keep this sweet family in your prayers. I can't even imagine what they are feeling right now. I know they have to be devastated. They say in their interview that their story is one of HOPE, and that is what I will be praying for... hope... not only for them, but for Sadie. She needs her mommy and daddy. Cancer sucks.

I heard their story a few weeks back and my heart broke! Can you even imagine??? UGH! I know as Christians we are to never question God, and EVERYTHING is in God's hands and plan but sometimes you just have to wonder, "Why????" I'll be praying!
