Garden of the Gods
Yesterday afternoon, after the picnic, we went to the Garden of the Gods. We've heard a lot about it since we moved here and decided that since we were already out and about, we may as well go see it. It truly is breathtaking there! SO beautiful!! It was a pretty far walk for Kennedy and Keeghan. They both got tired (and whiny) not far into it, but we made it!

That place is gorgeous! Is Kellsey's dress too small or is it just one of those funny makes that ride up? It's adorable either way... Is she potty trained? I'm not sure if you already mentioned that, if so, pretend I didn't ask :)

I love the pictures of all the kids together with their sunglasses on (well almost all of them). They look so cute and happy!
The face on Kennedy's face while on top of her Daddy's safe shoulders is priceless!

We have some friends that live in Florissant, Co (they were just here visiting and I asked them how far they were from CO and they are only an hour away). They were just at the Garden of the Gods a few weeks ago and posted some pic on fb. They go and walk it often she said...they are really into the outdoor things. (they live on 5 acres and have horses) LOL It looks like such a beautiful place. Madison would have definitely gotten whinny!

I was wondering why Kennedy always has such puffiness under her eyes. Is that because of her Down Syndrome? because I notice that Kellsey has it too. Is it harmful?
maybe they wouldn't get tired if they didn't wear flip flops and sandals hiking?
It is unbelievable to me how many rude comments you get. For the record, I wear flip flops everywhere in the summer and yes, even if we go on a walk or "hiking". I'm sorry you have to deal with people who say these kinds of things, as if they have nothing but negative and spiteful thoughts.....so I guess I'm more sorry for them.
