Stop laughing at me.
Everyone told me, "Ohhh it's not so bad here! It snows one day and then it warms up and melts and it's FINE!" Uh huh. Well it snowed last week, and it did melt. In fact, the last remnants melted from my yard yesterday. Guess what it is supposed to do today?
That's right.
Snow.
And last week when it snowed?
I couldn't drive up my driveway.
I'm pretty sure my next door neighbor was laughing inside as she guided me into my garage. (Thanks Stephanie!) :o)
Whoever designed this house with an inclined driveway is not my friend.
Just sayin'.
OK. I'm done whining now.
I will survive this Winter.
I will survive this Winter.
I will survive this Winter.
In the meantime, here are a few more snow pictures from last week...
Yes. He's wearing a purple scarf. We have one and he called it first. LOL
May today's snow be warmer and melt faster.

I'm thinking you need to get yourself some snow tires ;). So what causes them to call school there? Gone are the weeks off because of flurries for you ;). FYI I'm done with snow already too. Although, having snow this early here in CT is very rare and it caused major issues with very heavy weighed down trees that still had leaves. It was not pretty and we have no more snow days.
I've lived in lots of houses with inclined driveways in the winter. Yes, it sucks, and it's only going to get worse as the winter goes on and the snow turns into ice. haha! Buy stock in salt and and kitty litter or sand NOW. haha! Seriously, though...a $3 20 lb bag of cheapy cat litter from Walmart will be your bestest friend ever. Yeah, it kinda makes it muddy and it gets tracked into the house, but at least you can get up your driveway!!!
Get yourself a snowblower, STAT!! It will be a life saver for you.
Ooooh no! You poor thing! You're in for a world of surprise very soon!! I'll be praying for you. ;-)
Just remember,it could be worse. I'm stationed in Alaska. We've had snow on the ground since early october, and it doesn't melt....not once the entire winter until end of april/may :D So feel better! ;)
It hasn't even snowed here and I'm so over it.. Five kids to get outside and then come back inside in less than a half an hour..
I will trade you the snow for our earthquakes and tornadoes this week.
You just learn to deal with it...and our driveway in Iowa was really inclined...yeah...that was a great idea. Of course the house was in a hill so there wasn't much choice, but...
Lifting up prayers right now!
Psalms 118:4-6 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Well at least the kids look adorable in their winter duds, and sure look like they're having fun, but please be careful, out there, driving in that stuff!
