Today's topic is "My Favorite Christmas Movie". I have A LOT of favorites. I love watching them! In fact, my DVR box is filling up as we speak with movies from Hallmark and Lifetime... some classics, some new... some cheesy and some that make me cry (which Frank would probably ALSO say are cheesy! ha!). I think the thing I love best about Christmas movies is that my kids love them too and we can snuggle up by the fire with popcorn or some other treat and watch movie after movie. It never gets old!
SO since this blog isn't all about ME *ahem*, I decided to tell you not only MY favorite Christmas movie, but everyone else's in the house as well!
First is mine since this blog post really IS supposed to be about me! haha Now I wanted to think of some touching, heartwarming, inspirational movie that I could tell you is my favorite, but well... that would be a LIE! HA! So I confess, my all-time favorite Christmas movie that we have to watch EVERY year is...
Yep. A Christmas Story. I love it. Thankfully my husband and big kids love it too. I will never be able to see my kids in snowsuits and big winter coats without whining, "Wahhh, I can't put my arms down!" :o)
OK onto Frank... I have to admit, I do not like his favorite Christmas movie. It takes A LOT for me to tolerate it watch it with him. But he loves it... and so do Kass and Kam. *sigh*
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. They love it. But it stresses. Me. Out!
Kassidy's favorite Christmas movie (and really one of Kameron's too) is quickly becoming a tradition around here. How could anyone not love the smelly, green, mean...
Mr. Grinch! Yes, how the Grinch Stole Christmas... Come take a trip to Whoville with us!
Kameron's favorite Christmas movie is my favorite cartoon Christmas movie. I love, love, love this one and can't wait to watch it this season!
Do you still hear the bells??
Kennedy's favorite Christmas movie is a brand new one this year, and when I asked her, her answer was no surprise.
Good Luck, Charlie! One of her favorite shows now has a Christmas special. Her eyes were glued to the screen the entire time... except for when she ran out of popcorn! HA!
Keeghan said that everyone else already picked his favorite movies! HA! He likes pretty much everything animated or with kids... or animals. :)
And Kellsey... well... she pretty much likes anything as long as she has popcorn, although she is partial to Dora. Maybe we'll need to find this to record...
Twenty Days until Christmas and so many movies left to watch! I can't WAIT!
SO... what's YOUR favorite Christmas movie?!

Cute! That's funny about Christmas Vacation. I could see how it could be a very stressful movie to watch! LOL! I love it, but probably because it makes me feel better about my family! Haha...totally just kidding about my family! :)

I have a 3 way tie!..Miracle on 34th st. White Christmas and it's a woderful life! Have to watch them each year since i was little..it's my tradition :) I got all my kids to watch the newer version of miracle on 34th st. this year...they LOVED it! :) I think one of their favorites is the Grinch too though :)
Christmas story. I was spouting off about daisy red rider carbine action range modle air rifles with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time since I was pretty little. It's a family tradition, too. Nobody leaves the Christmas Day celebration till they've sat through at least one showing (do they loop it constantly for 24 hours in Tennessee?)
Ever since hitting "Publish" for my movie post, I've been asking myself, "HOW did I miss Polar Express?!" So glad to see it here on your list!
