Sleep Studies

Last night Kennedy and Kellsey both had sleep studies in Denver. I believe that this is the third one for each of them. They were able to fit both girls in on the same night which meant less time off work for Frank, so I jumped at the chance knowing that both girls handled their sleep studies well before.

They started hooking the girls up around 8:30 and were done a little after 9:00... there was lots of laughing and goofing around involved... mostly on the tech's parts! haha They were great with them. Then they asked when the girls would want to head to bed and I said, "Uhhh about an hour and a half ago!" LOL So they settled them in their beds so they could watch them for the night.

They of course couldn't give me results or anything, they said it would be 7-10 days, but the tech that was in charge of Kellsey was amazed by how much she was awake during the night. I said, "Yep, that's why we're here!" By 6am they had both girls unhooked, I got them dressed and we made the drive back to Colorado Springs. We had quite a scary drive in last night... LOTS of snow falling, hard to see in the dark... we drove slow, slow, slow. Today the roads were pretty clear, but it was COLD. They even had a 2 hour delay for school which the big kids were thrilled about!

Anyway, I'm still a little sleep deprived so I am heading to bed soon. Here are a couple pictures of the girls last night...

Thankful you made it home okay! Driving in the snow is no fun at all!
Am here praying!
Psalms 27:1, 4-5 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?...One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

I can't wait to hear the results. Our 5 year old adopted son with DS has some major sleep issues and I have no clue what is at the root of it. He is awake during the night alot also. Can't wait to hear the results.
