Fun with Felt (Giveaway!!)

Awhile ago, I was contacted by someone at the BettyLukens company and asked if the kids would like to try out one of their products so I could review it and do a giveaway. I looked at their website and thought, "That looks fun!" And then I stuck it in my "blog stuff" folder, and I forgot about it. Life gets busy. I ran across it again a few weeks ago and emailed them and asked if they were still interested. They told me to choose one of their sets and they would mail it to me. I knew that there was NO way my kids would agree on one set, so I chose the carville. All the little kids (and Kameron even) like to play with cars, so I thought that would be the easiest to share. :) A few days later we got a box in the mail and got not only the mat, but the Fun on the Farm set as well. The kids were thrilled! Even Kassidy got in on the fun... you know... because she was helping the little kids ;o). They have played with these sets for hours. Kameron has taken the car mat down to his room and Keeghan has claimed the farm for his room but they are both pulled out frequently and I see the kids playing with them.

They have TONS of different sets... Princess and Dress up dolls for girls, tons of different Animals and Nature sets, lots of Science and Early Learning to help with learning your ABCs and colors and shapes and more!  Holidays and Seasons... these are OH so cute and would be perfect for homeschooling, a classroom or preschool class. Finally, they have Through the Bible in Felt... countless different ways to bring Bible stories to life for your kids. Bring the well known and well loved Bible stories into your home or Sunday School class and keep your kids entertained for hours. The possibilities are endless! :) There is also SO much more that I haven't even touched on, so please go check out their site and browse. If you have a child, or grandchild, or work with children or just know a child, this would be a perfect gift! I love that it's something my kids have played with over and over. They are washable and each set comes in its own bag so you won't lose any pieces.

NOW, the people at BettyLukens have given me permission to give away a felt set to one of YOU as well!! SO, if you would like a set of your own, all you have to do is leave me a comment and tell me which set you would choose and who you might give it to (or if you'd use it in a classroom, Sunday School, homeschool, etc). We want to hear your ideas!! :o) As always, you can get an extra entry by sharing this giveaway on Facebook and/or twitter. Just leave me a separate comment for each entry. I will choose a winner using random.org on April 4, 2012, one week from today. Good luck!! :)

I would choose this one. http://www.bettylukens.com/science-early-learning/77-learning-your-abcs.html
I would either donate it to the Pre K program at my daughter's school or give it to my cousin for her son.

I'm all about toys that don't make messes like this one! :) I would love to win the "Learning Your ABC's" one for my daughter. She's two, and I think it's a good time to start learning! ;)

This is GREAT! Kudos to BettyLukens for creating such creative toys. How nice to see a "back to basics" playset available to our kids. I would love to enter for a chance to win a set. I checked out the website and would definately pick:

Katelyn & Friends: Animal Care

This would be enjoyed by Aziza, my 5 year old who has Down Syndrome. She is in love with dogs and needs to work on her fine motor and receptive language skills. I could see how this set would make learning fun!

Wow! I looked at the website and the sets look so fun! I want to play with one! However, I would have to pick Katelyn and Friends Pet Care for my little girl. She loves dogs and cats and she would have so much fun with that! Her birthday is on the 8th and I was looking for gifts that were different than the usual store bought stuff. This will be great!

Although the website is down right now..i was super excited to hear that they have a through the Bible in Felt set. My sister and I were just talking about how our Special needs classroom at church really needs a felt set for the Bible lessons. So that is what i'd get and what i'd use it for :)

I would choose the set The Four Seasons. I would give it to our youngest, to play with in the car - since it's silent and doesn't break, and he has this wonderful imagination and would make up endless stories :-) In the summer, it would also help our host child learn our language, since she usually sits next to our youngest in the car - and she adores him! They could play together and learn together :-)

I would love to win the "Through the Bible in Felt" set b/c we have just joined a new small church and they do not have tons of supplies. I am sure this would be a great asset to them/us.

I would love the "Learning your ABCs one". I think it would be great for my pre-k class since they are a mix of ESL,speech delays and other various IEPs .This might actually get them interested in learning their letters!

I've been working with BL Bible felts for decades at church. They are BEAUTIFUL. (I think one of my favorite parts is the gorgeous desert background.) I had totally forgotten that they have SO MANY other things to choose from, so THANK YOU for the reminder.

One day I'd love to get a Small Deluxe Bible set for my grandson, but right now I'd be happy to be able to get an Old Testament felt book. He's still little, so even that will have to be played with with LOTS of supervision because of small pieces. (Just ask my daughter - I'm a stickler for keeping all the parts intact. Now she is, too. LOL)

Know that you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers! Look to the Lord for all things!
Hebrews 12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Through the Bible in Felt would be quite useful here in Finland as we teach the Gospel in Sunday School in a new church plant. You can even mail it to a U.S. address. Ask for details.

I think either the dinosaur set or the zoo set, and I would give it to my youngest, as he has a major love of animals (monkeys especially, sound familiar?) and is always my kid that is bored in the car.

It was so hard to pick just one! I honestly just spent 15 minutes debating and have come away with birthday and Christmas gift ideas for my 4 home school girls. If I won this give away I would choose the Forest Camping Adventure. They would all love it, but my 3 year old loves animals and this set would be a great intro to some new animals for her.
Thanks for the giveaway!
