It was HOT today... temps broke 100 and the kids made several stops on the water rides to cool off. I even went on one, and I must admit, it felt GOOD!! We brought a picnic lunch and avoided the park prices, and enjoyed a great day together. Here are some pictures, in no particular order...
The kids first time down the boat ride... Kass, Kam and Kenn are in the back row. They were soaked! LOL
Kam and Kass on the roller coaster! They're brave!
They're second time on the boat... with Keeghan... He didn't like it much. LOL Kass was mimicking Keeghan's face! haha
My sweet girls

This post so makes me want to run out to an amusement park today!! Love the boat ride (here they call it the Boston Tea Party) but the roller coaster....ummmm...not so much! I do love Kameron's hat!!! Beautiful kids!!! (((HUGS)))!!!
Looks like fun!! Wish we could join you guys!!
I see a visible difference in your children's face since you guys made that tough decision. The smiles seem to be coming a little easier, they seem more relaxed. I bet if we saw a picture of Kellsey we would see it in her face as well. I am praying this summer brings a lot of respite to you all. I wish you all lived in CA however. There is an amazing camp called Okizu for kids with cancer and their siblings. The siblings get their own week of camp and kennedy would have her own week of camp for kids who have had cancer. You should see if there is something like that in Colorado for them. It's free and its fun!
Poor keeghan on that ride! I think you need to find a bacon hat for Kameron.
Lifting up prayers right now!
Psalms 20:5-7 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Hope this beautiful Gospel passage gives you comfort! Praying!
Titus 3:4-7 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Everybody looks so happy !
How are your Mom and Kellsey doing ?
Still praying in Seattle!
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

It looks like you had an awesome time! I must admit, I am a bit jealous - I'm spending 9 hours in a hot, stuff office today! I would much rather be at a park. :)
Renee - I also wanted to share this link: http://countingcoconuts.blogspot.com/search/label/Sensory%20Tubs
I'm not sure if you have seen this before, but I just thought it was the neatest! It is homemade sensory tubs! Although some of the things in them may be too small for Kellsey to play with - I just thought they were the cutest and they look so fun to make!
Hi!
For what it's worth, I think you are a fantastic Mother with a fantastic family! I am the Mother of 3 grown children myself and the grandmother of one wonderful little boy with another grandchild on the way. I have also taught children with multiple disabilities for 18 years and have absolutely loved it.
Thank you for sharing your family with us, I especially want to thank you for your story and warning about watch batteries. I frequently give others those musical cards and never stopped to realize how easily a child might get one of those batteries and how dangerous it was. You have really opened my eyes.
I am sorry for those who criticize, I agree, if you have nothing nice to say keep your yap shut!
Thank you so much for sharing so much with all of us.
Lisa
LOVE The hat!!
