Holiday Memories!

We have had a LOT of fun stuff going on around here... Christmas parties, more Christmas parties... Did I mention Christmas parties? Oh... and snow. But that wasn't fun. LOL It was SO cold that they canceled the last day of school. Usually a snow day brings cheers all around in our household, but this time it brought sighs of sadness because the last day of school before Christmas is... well... party day! They were all so excited!! Thankfully the teachers were looking forward to it as well because I've received emails from all 3 teachers (Kass doesn't get parties in middle school. Bummer!) and they've all rescheduled their parties for January when school gets back in. :o)

Kennedy went to her very first sleepover last week and had a FABULOUS time. The girls stayed up till 3am laughing and playing and they ate lots of food and played games and had a wonderful time! She talked about it for a week before the party got here and is still talking about it now. She loves to be with her friends! ;)
Kennedy ready to go to her sleepover!

 Let's GO!!!

Kennedy and Brooklyn, the birthday girl

Beyond Christmas parties, Kameron's teacher had his class put on an amazing play. Kameron was so excited to get this teacher this year because he knew about the plays this class puts on every year. This is the only 5th grade class to do these and of course it's right up Kameron's alley. :) For this play they did Peter Pan's Christmas. They did 2 performances for the school and parents and they all did a great job! Kameron played the part of Michael and he loved every second of it. :)

"Wendy", "John", "Michael" (Aka Kameron) and Peter Pan

 Peter and Michael with Santa

Kennedy also had her class music performance. They performed on Monday night for all the families and then they were supposed to lead the all school Christmas caroling on the 19th but the darn snow got in the way! LOL They all did a great job too and Kennedy had a lot of fun singing all the Christmas songs. :)

 Kennedy and Emily

 Most of Kenn's class

We had another Christmas party with the Starlight foundation (yep, they have two!) and a Christmas party with Kennedy's dance company... they were both so much fun!! We have one more on Christmas Eve and then I think we'll be officially partied out! ;)

Keeghan telling Santa what he wants for Christmas

 Kenn checking out Santa's suit

Santa talking to Kam... trying to convince him he's the REAL Santa ;)

I think Kass is trying to convince Santa that Kennedy does NOT need any Justin Bieber stuff! haha

Kennedy didn't want to wear her hat... she didn't want to mess up her hair! LOL

All dressed up for the KDA party

 Beautiful Kass

Cutting her steak... HUGE milestone! ;)

I think that's his "Leave me alone so I can eat" smile. ;)

 Silly monkey :)

 Love these girls!

All dressed up. It's a rare sight people! ;)

 Yum! Chocolate fountain!

I think it's a good thing we took our family pic BEFORE the chocolate! ;)

Kennedy and Michelle... her "Big Sister" from dance.

Almost all the company kids :)

Jaemen and Keeghan - No one look at the camera... ready, set, GO!

Great update! So much fun!
May your roots go down deep into the Lord and His Word. Continuing in prayer!
Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

And I thought your many birthdays in one month was busy! Looks like you all had fun and it's great to see Frank home and enjoying his time with the family. That family picture was beautiful! Merry Christmas Garcia family!

We have eyewitness testimony of the Savior. What comfort this gives in time of need! Praying!
1 John 1:1-4 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

We have hope because of a babe born in Bethlehem. Praying!
Luke 2:1-14 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

I see the pictures of Kennedy and it looks like she grew so much so when I saw the picture of her with her friend I thought wow is she really still that much shorter than her peers? Or is her friend older? Just curious. It's hard sometimes getting perspective in pictures. Looks like you all have been having a blast.
